German Named All-Region

Freshman student-athlete Maddox German (Fairfax, VA) has been named an All-Region 20 Honorable Mention selection, it was announced Wednesday, May 28th. Ahead of his first collegiate season, German had originally came to Prince George's to exclusively play his natural position at catcher. However, after injuries to the team forced players around the diamond, German stepped up and filled in as a true utility player which included playing shortstop, third baseman, outfield, and even time on the mound in relief. 

German finished the year with a team high 30 hits and 20 RBI's with a .300 batting average. The complete All-Region team listings can be viewed here.
