The Prince George's Community College Lady Owls dominated from start to finish Friday night as they coasted to a 66-48 win over the 4th ranked Lady Panthers from Baltimore City Community College.
The Lady Owls shot out to a 21-1 lead after the first twelve minutes and never looked back. The victory was the Owls third win in their last three contest and boost their record to 5-7 in the conference and 10-13 overall with one more regular season game to go.
Four Owls scored in double figures; freshman, Sabriena Shubert (Bowie HS) led the way with 20 points. Sophomore, Porchia Smith (Northwestern HS) and freshman, Jaida Jenkins (Flowers HS) both had double doubles with 17pts/13rebs and 13pts/17rebs respectively, and sophomore, Shanice Warren (Douglass HS) contributed 14 pts.
The Lady Owl are in action again at Novak Field House on Wednesday, February 5th at 5pm versus #1 ranked Chesapeake College.
