Owls Men Earn Top Spot in Region XX Tournament

Largo, Md. - The seeding for the 2015 NJCAA Division III Men's Basketball Tournament has been released. Prince George's Community College Owls earned the number one seed and will play the winner of #4 Butler County Community College and CCAC Allegheny. All games are being held at CCAC Allegheny.

Although the team endured a slow start to the season, the Owls have picked up momentum since the start of the New Year and have posted an 8-4 record to end the season. During these games, the Owls have been dominant offensively and averaged over 91 points per game.

Guards Donell Diggs and Robert Tyler II have been huge for the Owls during this period and finished the regular season averaging 15.8 points with 5 assist and 15.3 points and 3 rebounds respectively.

Coach Joyner and his staff are pleased with the way the team has been performing of late and hopes this form can take them back to another Region XX Championship.

Game 3: 3:00 pm- #1 Prince George's CC vs. Winner GAME 1 (#4 vs #5)

Championship - Sunday, February 22, 2015 at 1 PM
